BANGKOK, Thailand - NYO3 returned to Vitafoods Asia from 2 to 4 September 2026 for its third consecutive appearance at the regional nutraceutical trade show. At the event, the Norway-origin health supplement brand and Aker BioMarine presented a new LPC-focused nutrition series. NYO3 also introduced its Global Partner Programme to support distribution and channel collaboration across Asia.
Vitafoods Asia 2026 took place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. NYO3's launch brought together ingredient research, finished-product development and regional partnerships, with a particular focus on marine-derived lipids in brain-health and healthy-ageing nutrition.

A closer look at LPC-form omega-3
LPC stands for lysophosphatidylcholine, a phospholipid form that can carry fatty acids such as DHA. A 2014 study published in Nature identified the MFSD2A transporter as a route by which DHA in LPC form crosses the blood-brain barrier. This mechanism has made LPC-form omega-3 an active area of nutrition research.
The NYO3 launch was developed through collaboration with Aker BioMarine, which markets the krill-derived LPC ingredient Lysoveta®. In April 2026, Aker reported results from a preclinical study in mice that found enrichment of EPA and DHA in brain-related tissues. As a preclinical study, the research could establish that an LPC supplement prevents or treats cognitive disease in people.
Two products presented in Bangkok
NYO3 presented NYO3 Brain Health Support, an LPC-focused formula intended for daily brain-health nutrition. The company also introduced an upgraded NYO3 Amundsen Triple-Action Krill Oil formula that combines Antarctic krill oil with an LPC ingredient in a broader healthy-ageing format.
The launch of the new LPC series marks the official entry of the brain anti-aging sector into a new technological era defined by precision delivery and scientifically validated brain penetration, while also bringing cutting-edge, professional, and premium brain anti-aging solutions to consumers across the Asia-Pacific region and the globe.

A wider Southeast Asian partner network
Alongside the product launch, NYO3 introduced its Global Partner Programme for distributors, retail platforms and industry partners. The first group of partners announced at the show included representatives from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
NYO3‘s products now reach 33 countries and regions through online and offline channels. It also cited Euromonitor International data that placed the brand first by retail-channel shipment value in the global krill-oil supplement category for 2023, 2024 and 2025, using the category definition supplied in that research and research completed in April 2026.
In the second half of 2025, NYO3 ramped up its expansion into Southeast Asia, entering the Malaysian and Singaporean markets. Within just three months, it secured the top spot among health supplement stores on TikTok Malaysia and ranked first in the krill oil, Omega-3, and beauty supplement categories.
What the launch means for Malaysia
The Bangkok launch gives Malaysian consumers and trade partners a clearer view of NYO3's current research and product direction. It also places Malaysia within the brand's growing Southeast Asia network, alongside new partnerships in nearby markets.
